Louise Lewis RGN, RSCN (UK), RGON (NZ), BA (Hons), PG Dip Health - Research Coordinator, Wellington

Louise qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1989 and as a Registered Sick Children's nurse in 1991, in the UK. Since qualification Louise has gained experience in a variety of areas including General Medicine/Surgery, Paediatrics, Neonatal Care, Diabetes/Renal and Maxillofacial Outpatients, Gastroenterology and more recently Occupational Health.  Louise has also worked overseas in Australia, in both city and rural hospitals. Louise's research career includes working as a Research and Development nurse (haematology) at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital (UK); a Junior Sister in diabetes clinical trials (Phase 2 and 3) at Wrexham Hospital (UK) and as a Research Nurse for the 'Dipper's flu' study at the Centre for Occupational and Environmental Health at the University of Manchester (UK). Louise immigrated to New Zealand in January 2009 to work as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Occupational Health at Capital and Coast DHB in Wellington, before joining P3 Research in March 2011.
