Bronchiectasis
Location: Tauranga and Wellington
We need the following people for this study:
Men or women ♦ aged at least 18 ♦ bronchiectasis ♦ no cystic fibrosis ♦ needed at least 2 courses of antibiotics in past year for condition
This is a 6-month study looking at the safety and effectiveness of a new formulation of antibiotic in the treatment of lung infection in people with bronchiectasis. During the study, participants will take an inhaled antibiotic once daily for 28 days for a total of 3 months. Each month of treatment will be separated by a month without treatment. Most visits will take about 1 hour.
