We are currently recruiting for four COPD studies:
STUDY 1
Location: Wellington and Tauranga

The first study is looking at the effect of stopping a medicine that is given to people with COPD while they continue to take 2 other medicines. All 3 medicines are registered and commonly prescribed in New Zealand. The study will last about 14 months and will require about 10 visits to the clinic during this time. Each visit will take 1-3 hours.

We need the following people for this study:
Men or women ♦ aged at least 40 ♦ COPD ♦ current or ex-smoker ♦ no asthma ♦ able to take Spiriva
The second study is a one year study comparing a new investigational medicine with a marketed medicine in the treatment of moderate to severe COPD. There will be about 18 visits to the clinic; 12 visits may take up to 2 hours and the other six visits will take 4-6 hours to complete.
