Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's Disease
Location: Wellington
We need the following people for this study:
Men or women ♦ aged 18-80 ♦ ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease for at least 6 months ♦ not responded to earlier treatment
We are running two similar studies with the same investigational medicine. Each study will look at the safety and effectiveness of the new medicine when given to patients for 1 year. The study will involve about 18 visits to the clinic over about 15 months. You will be given an intravenous infusion of the study medicine at the start of the study, 2 weeks later and then every 4 weeks. The infusions take 30-60 minutes and each visit will take 2-3 hours. At the end of the study you may be given the option to continue in a long term follow-up study.
